Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes bonded to your own natural lashes, one at a time. They are not strip lashes and nothing is glued to your eyelid. Each extension sits on a single natural lash and grows out with it, which is why a good set looks like your own lashes rather than something stuck on.
A full set takes about two hours. You lie back with your eyes closed the whole time, and most clients fall asleep. When you sit up, the mascara step of your morning routine is simply gone. No smudging, no flakes on your glasses, no raccoon eyes by 3pm.
The difference comes down to how many extensions go on each natural lash. If you are not sure, book classic. You can always go fuller next time.

If you have never had extensions before, here is exactly what happens from the moment you walk in.
What you want, what you do for work, how much time you spend on your face in the morning, and whether you want people to notice. That conversation decides the length, curl and set style.
You lie back on the lash bed and your eyes close for the rest of the appointment. Under-eye pads go on to protect your lower lashes and keep everything separated.
Each natural lash is isolated and a single extension is placed on it. This is the part that takes two hours, and it is the part that separates a set that lasts from one that does not.
You sit up, look in the mirror, and we go over aftercare. Before you leave, we book your fill for two to three weeks out so you never end up starting over.
You naturally shed a few lashes every day, and the extensions on them go too. Around two to three weeks a set starts looking thinner and less even. That is normal and it is not the glue failing. A fill adds extensions to the new growth and brings you back to full.
Here is the part that saves money. Come in at two to three weeks and it is a fill. Wait five or six weeks and there is not enough left to work with, so you are paying for a full set again. Booking your next fill before you leave is the single easiest way to keep the cost down.
Extensions are low maintenance, not no maintenance. These four habits are the difference between three weeks and five days.
The adhesive needs a full day to cure properly. Skip the shower steam, the gym and the pool on day one and you will get far more life out of the set.
The most common mistake is avoiding water entirely. Oil and makeup build up at the lash line and break the bond down. Cleanse gently with a lash-safe wash every couple of days.
Oil dissolves lash adhesive. Check your cleanser, your makeup remover and your moisturiser, because oil near the lash line is usually the reason a set falls early.
A quick brush with a clean spoolie in the morning keeps them laying right. Never pick or pull at a loose extension, because your natural lash comes with it.
Extensions already hold a curl. A mechanical curler crushes them and damages the natural lash underneath. You will not need it.
Face-down sleeping flattens one side. If you are a side sleeper, a silk pillowcase reduces the friction and helps a lot.
The set grows out with your natural lash cycle, so most clients come in for a fill every two to three weeks. With good aftercare, a full set stays looking full for around three weeks before it needs topping up. The extensions themselves do not expire, they just shed when the natural lash they are attached to sheds.
Not when they are applied correctly. Damage comes from extensions that are too long or too heavy for the natural lash, from lashes being stuck together, or from clients pulling them off. Every set here is weighted to what your natural lashes can carry, and each extension goes on a single isolated lash so nothing is stuck to anything else.
A classic full set is $95 with fills at $65. Hybrid is $105 with $70 fills. Volume is $125 with $75 fills. There is no separate consultation fee, and we talk through what you want at the start of your appointment.
Plan on about two hours for a first full set. Fills are much quicker, usually under an hour depending on how much has grown out. Coming in on schedule for fills keeps those appointments short.
Yes, as long as it is oil free and you are gentle around the lash line. Most clients find they stop wearing eye makeup entirely, because the extensions do the work mascara and liner used to. Skip waterproof mascara, since removing it is what breaks sets down.
Classic. It is the most natural, the lightest on your lashes, and the easiest to live with while you figure out what you like. Plenty of clients move to hybrid or volume at their second or third fill once they know how extensions fit into their routine.
Usually yes, but tell us before you book. There are sensitive adhesive options, and if you have had a reaction to extensions before we can patch test first. If you have an active eye infection or are recovering from eye surgery, we will need to wait until you are cleared.
